Payment links

Create reusable, no-code payment links and share them — easy for anyone.

A payment link is the easiest way to get paid without writing code. You create a link from the dashboard and share it over chat, a post, or email. Your customer taps the link and pays with any operator enabled on your account.

This is a no-code feature — you don't need to be a developer, just the dashboard. If you'd rather integrate in code, see Hosted checkout.

How it works

  1. Create a link — in the dashboard's "Payment links" section, set a title, a transaction description (optional), and amount.
  2. Share — copy the pay.wire.mn/link/{slug} URL, share it as a QR code, or post it on social (with a rich image preview).
  3. Customer pays — the link opens a Wire-hosted payment page showing a QR code and bank deeplinks.
  4. Confirm — verify the result from the payment_intent.succeeded webhook (Webhooks).

Amount types

  • Fixed amount — the customer pays the amount you set (e.g. a monthly membership).
  • Open amount — the customer enters their own amount. You can set a minimum (donations, pay-what-you-want).

Amounts are whole tögrög (MNT has no minor unit).

Transaction description

Each link can carry a transaction description (optional, up to 500 characters). This is the memo shown to the payer on the payment — e.g. "Order #1024" or "September service fee". Leave it empty for a payment with no memo. The title is only an internal name in your dashboard, whereas the transaction description is what the customer sees.

Reusable, with stats

One link accepts many payments — no need to mint a new link each time. The dashboard shows each link's payment count and total volume collected. You can deactivate a link and later re-activate it.

Sharing

Every link comes with:

  • Copy — a short, readable pay.wire.mn/link/{slug} URL.
  • QR code — print it or show it on screen.
  • Social share — sharing the link on Facebook, Instagram, or LinkedIn shows a rich image preview with your name and amount automatically.

Every payment made through a payment link is recorded as a normal PaymentIntent + Charge — reported and webhooked exactly like an API-created payment. No-code links and API payments converge in one place.
